Weddings aren’t fairy tales—they’re real, chaotic, emotional, and occasionally hilarious. I’m there to catch all of it: the hugs, the kids rolling their eyes and the dodgy dance moves. No cheesy posing, no fake moments, just your day, exactly as it happens, with photos that actually feel like you.

I shoot weddings the way they actually happen, with no uncomfortable poses and no forced smiles. My style is relaxed and documentary-led, capturing the genuine moments, real emotions, and unfiltered chaos (and hopefully some joy) that make your day yours.
Think of me as a friendly extra guest with a camera: I’ll be in the thick of it when I need to be, then quietly working in the background when it counts. I know when to step up for the classic group shots and couple portraits, and when to disappear so you can just live your day without feeling like you’re starring in a photo shoot. I’m also not above pinning buttonholes, fixing a squinty sporran, dishing out blister plasters to the bridesmaids (it’s always the bridesmaids), or herding guests if it helps things run smoother.
I’m not here to give your images a trendy Instagram look that’ll age badly in five years. I aim for true-to-life photos that still feel real when you look back at them 30+ years from now. I edit with a light touch so your memories feel as fresh as they did on the day.
From 2026, I’m also offering 2–3-minute highlight films set to music, which can be added to any wedding photography package. I’ve created a number of these throughout 2025 to refine the process and prove what can be achieved without turning your day into a film set. The footage is captured naturally throughout the day as part of my usual workflow, so no extra videographers, no extra people in your way, and no extra vendors to juggle. Just one professional photographer creating both your photos and a short, emotional highlight film of your day.
If you’re looking for full audio coverage—your vows, speeches, or a full-length film, then this isn’t the service for you, and you’d be best to book a dedicated videographer. But if you want a beautiful, highly cost-effective short video that captures the feel and energy of your day, this is a perfect option.
Weddings aren’t one-size-fits-all, so my packages are flexible and shaped around what you actually need. I cover weddings across Scotland and the North of England, and I’m always happy to jump on a call or meet up to hear what’s important to you and how you want your day captured.
