The Process
We arrive, set up the studio, photograph your guests, create their prints and take everything down before we leave.
We take care of the entire setup and bring everything we need. All we require from your venue is sufficient floor space and access to a power supply for our equipment. You can find more details about our space requirements below.
Once our portable studio is ready, your guests can simply drop by, enjoy the experience and have professional portraits taken.

We give your guests their own moment in the spotlight
Celebration Portraits gives your guests the chance to step away from the celebrations and enjoy a genuine professional portrait experience. We use professional cameras, lenses and studio lighting, not an iPad or basic photo-booth camera, to create portraits that look and feel like proper photography.
Every image is professionally edited and retouched before being printed, giving your guests a beautiful portrait to take home and remember the occasion by.
Will it distract from my wedding photographer?
Not at all. Celebration Portraits is designed to complement your day rather than interrupt it. Guests can visit the studio when it suits them, typically during the drinks reception, while you continue enjoying your wedding or having your own couples portraits taken by your main photographer.
As a wedding photographer myself, I understand how important it is that everyone working at your wedding complements the main photography rather than competes with it. I regularly work alongside other photographers and suppliers, so I understand how to work around the timings and flow of the day.
We see our services as complementary, not competing. Your wedding photographer is there to capture the story of your day naturally, while Celebration Portraits gives your guests a dedicated opportunity to step in front of the camera and enjoy a professional portrait experience of their own.
There’s no need for everyone to queue or gather at once, the studio simply becomes another part of the experience for your guests to enjoy.
Can guests have more than one photo and print?
Absolutely. Guests can return to the studio throughout the evening and have different combinations of people photographed and printed.
Do you charge travel expenses?
We will cover anywhere in central Scotland for no additional fee. Anything further afield will incur a small additional charge for mileage, but we'll agree that in advance.
